Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL) has released a notification for the recruitment of 300 Administrative Officers (Scale-I) posts. The vacancies include a total of 285 generalist and 15 Hindi (official language) officer posts. The recruitment is open to Graduate and Post Graduate degree holders from a recognized university. Essential Qualification:

(1) Administrative Officer - Generalist:

  • Candidates must be Graduate or Post Graduate in any stream from a recognized university with 60% marks (SC/ST: 55%).

(2) Administrative Officer - Hindi (Rajbhasha):

Master’s Degree in:

  • Hindi with English as compulsory/elective subject
    OR
    English with Hindi as compulsory/elective subject
    OR
    Any subject with Hindi medium + English compulsory/elective
    OR
    Any subject with English medium + Hindi compulsory/elective
    OR
    Any subject with both Hindi & English as compulsory/elective

OICL Administrative Officer 2025 - Pay Scale

The basic pay for the post is Rs. 50,925, and the full pay scale is Rs. 50,925-96,765. The gross monthly salary is around Rs. 85,000 in metro cities, including various allowances and benefits such as House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), Travel Allowance (TA), medical facilities, Leave Travel Subsidy (LTS), pension under NPS, gratuity, group accident insurance, and company/leased accommodation as per rules.

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project.
